Bloomfield Garden

Our farm is located on the edge of the woods in morrow county. We enjoy watching the horses graze in the valley right next to our property as we work with mostly hand tools to cultivate and harvest our garden beds. We have added a hoop house to extend the season this year and are looking forward to a long and productive year of growing! We have 38 of the most beautiful extremely rare heritage breed Buff Chanteclers chickens. They have great personalities. Very easy going and the roosters have never been aggressive to anyone. They seem to be good producers so far. I am getting about 1 1/2 dozen eggs a day and this is their first season laying. We will soon have peas, lettuce, spinach, rhubarb and cut flowers along with the eggs to offer at the Sunbury Farmers Market on Saturdays and the Centerburg Farmers Market on Thursdays.
