Maple Spring Gardens

Family farmers who began raising vegetables by organic methods in 1972. We grow a wide variety of vegetables, berries, fresh culinary and medicinal herbs. On what was once a worn out tobacco farm, we have rejuvenated the land and created productive gardens and an ecosystem rich in biodiversity.
Each season we mentor a group of farm crew who help us in day to day tasks and at market. We also off a medicinal herb gardening apprenticeship and other herbalism workshops on farm.
We offer fresh produce and herbs as well as a line of farm to cup & farm to bottle herbal teas, infused vinegars, finishing salts, and botanical skin & body care. Our products are available at the Durham and Carrboro Farmers Markets, our online shop and bulk medicinal herbs by contract.
