Soggy Bottom Roadside Stand turns back the clock by offering you produce... like it used to be... the highest quality 100% North Carolina produce straight out of the black dirt fields of family-run farms in Rocky Hock, Tyner, Edenton and Engelhard... and at much lower prices than the supermarket. All our veggies are picked vine-ripe and loaded right into the back of our truck. We don't accept any produce picked "nearly ripe" last week, refrigerated and trucked in from who knows where? The supermarkets do that and that's why their produce doesn't stay fresh at your home... even for a few days. Our veggies are never stored below 70 degrees... and might even have a little dirt still on them... yummy!
