Sanctuary Hollow Farm

My daughter and I are working hard to create a sustainable farm. We raise dairy goats, a few meat goats, chickens, ducks, we have one goose, and have a garden. As we continue to work towards our goals some things may change. This means our products may change or they type of products we offer may change.

Currently we offer raw goat milk for both human and pet consumption. We also offer a limited number of goat kids available for purchase as replacement breeding stock and for pets. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT HAVE MILK AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN 2025 BUT WILL RESUME MILK SALES IN 2026 FOLLOWING KIDDING.

Some of our livestock practices have changed and we've begun to focus on heritage breeds. We are members of the Livestock Conservancy and have started choosing breeds off their conservation lists that are in needs of increasing their numbers. We have added the critically endangered Australian Spotted Ducks, the threatened Magpie ducks, and the recovering Polish and Cochin chickens. We have begun researching other livestock breeds like sheep, goats, and cattle to add to our farm.

We mainly grow in raised beds and our produce selection varies from year to year based on what grew and what didn't, things happen that affect production including weather. We are currently testing growing oyster mushrooms in our basement and so far they re doing quite well. We will be adding blackberry bushes once the temps are safe from freezing and hope to offer berries by the end of the summer.
