Our Yards Farm

Our Yards Farm is a suburban farm based in Audubon, NJ. We're setting out to redefine what a farm looks like by growing our food on the community's yards. Everyday the US loses over 3000 acres of farmland due to development, yet our population is growing exponentially. In the last 20 years alone the US has lost over 8% of its farmland to suburban sprawl. So how can we sustainably provide healthy, affordable, local food to our country when our farmland is disappearing? We believe part of the solution is through Suburban Farms. In the US, 40 million acres of land are currently lawns. Think about how much food we could grow on that land!
