We are a small family farm that is dedicated to growing the heritage breeds, as well as open pollinated vegetables and melons. Also we are expanding our operation into producing some gourmet mushrooms from the early fall to springtime. As a family, together we care for the gardens and try to teach our kids, 5 in all, and their friends how to grow their own gardens and keep the heritage breeds alive for the future gardeners. This to us is a very important thing. Our motto is "Growing the past for the future". We acquired the property we are on now 2 years ago and are in the process of getting it all going. This year we should be gardening about 2 acres and expanding as we clear more room. So it's a constant growth effort. We are proud to be Certified Naturally Grown and believe in what we do. We are hoping next year to be able to give tours of our mini farm to local school kids. Some we know have never seen a garden. And teach them the importance of chemical free gardening.
