Mountain Roots Produce

Mountain Roots Produce is a 7 acre vegetable farm, located in the beautiful Mancos Valley, just to the east of Mesa Verde National Park, in Southwest Colorado. Our Mission is to produce high quality and reasonably priced vegetables for our local and regional communities while improving soil health and being water resilient in our high desert climate. We sell our produce to restaurants and grocery stores in Durango, Mancos and Telluride. In addition, we operate a 50 member Summer and Fall CSA in Telluride as well as a Market Stand in Telluride on Wednesdays, from June through October. The basics of how we farm: cover cropping, crop rotation, minimal tillage - both mechanized and hand scale - paid employee(s), we do not rely on volunteer or intern labor - flower strips for beneficials and pollinators - appropriate water use for our high desert climate
