Sandhills Farmers Market of Spring Lake

Sandhills Farmers Market of Spring Lake is an open air market that sells homegrown and handmade items. Farmers come from within 75 miles of the market to sell their farm-fresh produce. Seasonal produce includes sweet corn, melons, okra, field peas, red and green tomatoes, varieties of squash, onions, cucumbers, peppers, greens and more. Occasional items include cut flowers, potted plants, herbs, fresh eggs, jams,and freshly baked sweets. Kids Day at the Market is the second Saturday of each month from 9 until noon with free kids activities. Live music is provided by local musicians. Handcrafted items can include crocheted , knitted, or sewn clothing and accessories, handmade soaps. Local foods such as smoked barbecue or fried fish sandwiches prepared by area cooks may be available. Area businesses come out occasionally to distribute information.The market is open Saturdays from 9am until 2pm.
