The CSA is built around our specialty, which is salad greens and green leafy vegetables. May 1-January 1, each weekly box contains a variety of salad greens, edible greens, vegetables and fruits in season, starts for your home or patio garden, decor and fresh flowers. Fresh fruits and vegetables in season and extended season. Cold stored tubers. Jams, jellies, spreads, breads, pies weekly. Toward the late Fall, we introduce the dried fruits and veggies, canned, frozen and pickled items.
Spinach, mache', cold-hardy vegetables, onions, garlic, tomatoes, potatos, sweet potatos, cold stored squash and apples are available in the off-season. The box is filled out with our preserved, canned, dehydrated and frozen farm produce, baked goods, jams, syrups, pickles, etc. in the off-season.
At prime planting times, we include your choice of bare root seedless table grape vines, raspberry canes, heirloom tomato starts, herb potted plants, daylily and iris bulbs and ornamental plants, as available. Also available are tomato and other plant starts for your home or deck garden.
Pick-up is at Atlantic, Omaha, Council Bluffs or on-farm, as arranged.
