One Acre Vintage Homestead

We are a family owned one acre homestead growing a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The homestead includes a small orchard of apple, pecan, almond, hazelnut, and willow trees. Our large garden and raised beds produce a diverse array of vegetables and fruit throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. We have a regular supply of chicken eggs daily from our chicken coop that typically holds 8-12 hens throughout the year. We pride ourselves on living a self-sufficient lifestyle. All our gardens are watered with a rainwater collection system, fertilized with our homemade compost and store bought natural fertilizers, and an integrated herb and pesticide management made with all natural and homemade products. We only purchase fruit and vegetable non-GMO seeds from reputable sources. Our self reliance extends to saving these seeds from our harvest year after year which reduces our homestead gardening cost and also ensuring a quality product year after year.
