Flushing CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a volunteer co-operative group of local Flushing (Queens) residents working with Golden Earthworm Organic Farm and JustFood to bring fresh, locally-grown, organic produce to our community. Weekly, for 6 months of the year, fresh just picked vegetables are delivered to Flushing Town Hall, where members pick them up. The selection of vegetables, and the quantities vary by the season, but include tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, beets and other root vegetables, onions, leeks and garlic, as well as fresh greens for salad and for cooking, herbs and strawberries.
