Gaia Rising Farm is located on beautiful Guemes Island in the San Juan archipelago of Washington State. It is but a 5 minute ferry ride from Anacortes. The homestead has for 30+ years been an example of sustainable living methods, including photovoltaics and greywater system. The farm is devoted to organic and permaculture methods.
Gaia Rising Farm is dedicated to providing food security in a changing world and helping our community to make a transition to a life without dependence on fossil fuels. The current focus is on planting food producing trees for the future and raising a small flock of Gotland sheep for wool and meat and breeding stock.
