Doko Farm is a small, family-owned business, located in the Cedar Creek Community, of Richland County, South Carolina. The farm has been owned by Joe's family since 1839. Amanda and Joe moved back from California, in 2007, to restore the farmhouse and family farm. Joe represents the fourth generation of his family to farm this patch of land and we hope he will not be the last!

Our goal is to provide our community, and the surrounding area, with fresh, healthy foods that taste so good, you'll keep coming back for more.

We strive for sustainability. Our animals are rotationally grazed, so they always have access to fresh pasture. In the garden, we practice crop rotation and amend the soil with compost and cover crops. We do not use chemical pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We feel that these methods of production are healthier for our livestock, the land, and our families.

We raise heritage breeds, because these animals are best suited to take advantage of all a pasture based system has to offer. Heritage breeds also help us to conserve, and diversify, the genetics and flavors, in our food system. The slow growth of heritage breeds helps to prepare them for a long, productive outdoor life. This slow growth is also what allows them to develop their flavor, which is what keeps our customers coming back time and time again.

We look forward to seeing you at Doko Farm!
