Pure Sol Farm

Pure Sol Farm was started out of a desire to provide nutrient dense, chemical free, naturally grown vegetables to our family. It has evolved into a supplier of local food for people and restaurants in our surrounding area. Vegetable are grown from spring to fall. Absolutely no chemical pesticides or synthetic fertilizers are used. We do not use any GMO seeds. The health of the soil is always a priority on the farm. We use crop rotations, cover crops and green manures to build the soil between vegetable crops. We now have grass fed lamb, and pastured pork. All animals are raised in a free range setting. Lambs graze on grass and browse along fences and in the woods. Sheep and lambs are not fed grains. Pigs are raised in an area with grass and woods. Pigs root and graze for some of their food. Vegetables from the farm are also provided to the pigs. Pigs are also given a small amount of non-GMO pig feed. Animals are not fed GMO based feeds. We believe in continuing the traditions of the heritage breeds. All animals should be humanely treated and able to live in their natural surroundings.
