We are a NC Bicentennial Farm c. 1795 in eastern Guilford county. Our goal is responsible, sustainable stewardship in all things from the education programs we provide to the products we raise, grow, and sell. We raise a variety of poultry including heritage breeds such as Delaware, Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire and Buff Orpington chickens, Beltsville Small White, Narragansett, and Bourbon Red turkeys, Welsh Harlequin & Khaki Campbell ducks, Tunis sheep and registered Leicester Longwool sheep. Products include all natural goat milk soap made from milk from our mini-milker goats, free range chicken eggs, pasture raised poultry (whole & special cuts), fiber products, registered Leicester Longwool sheep, and occasionally lamb. As a member of Got To Be NC, our products are raised and processed (if applicable) 100% in North Carolina. We are heavily involved with the NC Agritourism Networking Association and host a farm tour every Saturday at 2pm (call beforehand to confirm), as well as an assortment of classes, workshops, and activities for all ages. The farm store is open during/around farm tours, special events, and by appointment. See the calendar on our website providencefarmnc.com for a complete listing of special events and educational opportunities.
