At Redbud Ridge Farm, we take great care to provide an exceptional diet and comfortable, stress free life for our animals. We raise the American Guinea Hog breed and offer premium heritage pork. The genetics of our animals are hundreds of years old, predate refrigeration and certainly predate the modern idea that a hog should be lean. Our animals are a stark contrast to the lean, flavorless, unhealthy pork that most Americans consume today. The Guinea Hog produces a sweet, red and marbled meat, full of flavor and healthy fat. Due to the diet of these animals, they produce a fat that is packed with Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Our farm is beyond organic and our animals only feed on grass pasture and everything that hits the ground from 250 Walnut trees, mature Oak and Hickory trees. We give them oats and barley at breakfast and dinner. We also provide milk, hard boiled eggs, fruits, vegetables and local organic alfalfa. Our pigs also get to live outside and benefit from nutrients from the soil and sun. They receive No corn, No soy and No commercial feed. Our 60+ free range hens provide lots of nutritious eggs for the pigs daily. We grow pumpkins, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, garlic, sunflowers, apples and pears to supplement their diet. The animals receive positively no hormones or steroids and antibiotics administered only to our breeders and only in the rarest of situations when the health of the animal demand it.

Premium Forage Fed Whole Pig- 130 lbs. of chops, steaks, bacon, etc. is $910.00. USDA inspected and vacuum sealed. Pre-order only. We're adding names to the Dec. 2017 list. $100 deposit is required.

Bulk sausage- $7.00 per pound
Boston Butt Roast- $9.00 per pound
Bone in, 1" thick pork chops- $11.00 per pound
Ham Steak- $10.00 per pound
Bacon- $12.00 per pound
Smoked Jowl Bacon- $20.00 per pound
Ground Pork- $6.50 per pound

Our Meat Packs were a hit and we have sold out. We do have some random cuts and a small amount of sausage still available.
