The live music is also a great touch, and just seeing how this market brings out a large international community really can be heartwarming, and fun to people watch too! Bonus being next to Lake Merritt, for a nice walk after, and you may see a group that does some sort of contact improv dance stuff, which is entertaining to watch for a little bit.
