Riverdale Park Farmers Market

we've been visiting the Riverdale market since my first son was born - now nine years and two more sons later, we still make it a point to go every week. We love the friendly vendors who always make time to talk, the music and entertainment, and of course the wonderful produce, meats, jellies, eggs, and baked goods. Most of the produce has been picked the morning of the market - can't get any fresher than that! You don't need to drive out into the country to give your children an experience of farm life. Just talk to one of the farmers and try some of what they bring to market - it is the best and freshest ever.
