It is a wonderful place to get outside, meet your fellow locavores, help the local farmer and get great food. I love getting to chat with the farmers and see what is going on with them personally and on the farm, looking forward to the seasonal fruits & veggies. There is live music, jewelry/pottery, seafood, kettle corn/shaved ice, homemade cheese, breads, herb plants, local businesses, the list goes on (plus I can't wait to see who will be there next). They even offer farming classes. The people who run the market really put a lot of time into the market and making sure it is locally grown as well as keeping us informed of what is going on with produce/food in general (at our grocers). One of the more unique/awesome things is they have created a community garden where we can grow our own food locally/organically and our weekly contributions and vendors that come help support this community garden! Thanks Gretchen for putting an awesome market out there and educating us as well as the community. :)
