Delmar Farmers Market

It's primary purpose is to support local farmers and bring healthy food and fair trade, and locally produced crafts to the community, but it also provides a wonderful and vibrant place for people in the community, young and old, to come together and build on the mission of the market. It has been built upon an important relationship between the local community public school district and the town board which only strengthens the impact of a sustainable, healthy living initiative. To start up the market, there was an incredible shared effort by students, administration, school personnel, town officials, local press, local artists, etc. that is making it a solid and much loved institution in our community already!
