Long Beach Southeast Farmers Market

By: Matthew Garchow (Dec 4, 2008)
This market is on the edge of Long Beach and Seal Beach. It has many varieties of organic fruits and vegetables, as well as fish, Bison, hummus, bread, and flowers. I tried to go to this market each weekend until I moved away from Long Beach (Dec 07). I was satisfied each time I made a purchase.

I do not have much experience with farmer's markets, so I can not speak as to how good the prices are, but I do remember having a good feeling when I would go to the farmer's market and then see the prices at the grocery store.

The only drawback of this farmer's market (hence the 4 stars) is the parking. If you arrive in the early hours, it isn't hard to find parking. However, during the late morning it can get very crowded.
