Columbia Farmers' Market

I have been to other markets across the state and the country with my travels and I must admit the Columbia Farmers' Market has got to be the best. The local producers with their locally grown fresh and nutritious foods are the best. The farmers are great and friendly and really enjoy growing healthy food for people who appreciate their hard work to bring their food to them. Plus the market has just about everything you would want from veggies to fruits to meats (beef, lamb, pork, chicken, buffalo and trout) to dairy (milk, cheese and eggs) to baked goods (breads, pies, cookies, granola bars and dog treats) to flowers and handmade crafts with items from their farm. The weekly entertainment is fabulous. The reltionships built from producers to consumers is fabulous. I even got one producer to grow carrots just because I asked him to. Another grew hulless pumpkins just for me. You can't get it anywhere any better than this.
