Meadow Rock Farm

One of the joys of working with Meadow Rock Farm (Susan & Eric) is the opportunity to try new (and wonderful) foods. I would never have the courage to buy and prepare! Kolarabi is my new favorite vegetable. Who knew pulling kale leaves from the stem left a wonderful (better than spinach!) green?! Withe patience & persistence, Susan preaches "just try it once" with humor and great cooking tips. On my list of favorites: fresh garlic with actual juice, peanut potatoes (a personal best for Eric) and a variety of herbs which allows me to cook with an eye to health and flavor. Can't wait for spring!
