The Old Beach Farmers Market is all about local food - produce from nearby farms and fresh seafood. Several local restaurants participate. Particularly liked the fresh sorbets and mozzarella from Terrapins and the hummus and fresh pita chips from Croc's and hard-to-find Virginia wines. The bouquets from Back Bay Flowers were outstanding.
Can't wait 'til the market reopens on Memorial Day. I've heard they've tripled the number of vendors. If they can maintain the standards they set their first season, it'll be a surefire success.
I never had a problem parking. There's a vacant lot across 19th St.
