UMDNJ-The University Hospital Auxiliary's Farmers Market

Our farmer's market is helping bring fresh, Jersey-grown fruits and vegetables to some who may not be able to venture out to the rural markets. It also helps promote healthier eating habits which could start a positive trend, especially in our area, where preserved garbage seems to always be the first thing available. Taking into consideration the ongoing economic distress of many, if the farmer's market doesn't currently have the capabilities to also serve individuals receiving financial assitance, it should look into making it possible.
