Flagstaff Community Markets

I grew up with road side stands that sold watermelon, strawberries, tomatoes,,,all grown in their fields. The taste was wonderful, and I loved to bring home fresh fruits and veggies. Sometimes there was just a mason jar to put money into, and sometimes people. The road side stands have gone by the wayside, and farmers markets like the one we have in Flag take me back to my memories of road side stands that I grew up with. The freshness is better, the flavors more developed, not to mention knowing that the produce is locally grown. It's a delight for the senses and the eye as well. I love our Farmers Market.
