Buy local- support local people- reduce fossil fuel use by limiting your trips AND by not supporting global transport of out-of-season produce! Farmers markets do so much for local people!

This review, like several others above it, does not tell me anything about the market that is being reviewed (Buckhannon tailgate market). It simply lectures me on the value of local farmers' markets in general. If I needed that lecture, I wouldn't be here in the first place, would I? How about some actual info on THIS PARTICULAR market, letting me know the pros, cons, comments, complaints, etc. Sheesh!! Why must the organic food crowd be so damned paternalistic and smug. Get over yourselves, folks. It's just friggin' PRODUCE. Okay??

There is no actual info about the market that is being reviewed. Several other reviews above it did exactly the same. This is supposed to be a review of A SPECIFIC MARKET, not a lecture on the value of local produce. This is a big problem on this website. Too many smug "foodies" and Stalinist health movement types. I need REAL INFO, please.
