It is great representation of what farmers markets are all about-- neighbors seeing each other and those who have some role in producing their sustenance in a friendly, educational and cooperative setting. There are not too many retailers undercutting each-other yet the costs are usually less than the local national chain store's produce department. Not to mention the fact that this food didn't have transport costs ($ & carbon) and the money stays here as well.
