Farmers at the Union Square Greenmarket are open to sharing their recipes, smiling and always willing to give a sample of their food. They also remember customers and go the extra step to meet their demands -such as reserving a rare cheese for a customer who can't make it for 8am when the market opens or holding a basket of wild raspberries, when they could just easily sell them at the highest bid1-.
