Love that this market is Producer Only. Love the variety of local items. Wish Old Town Alexandria's Market was more like this one!

Hi Donna, Please forgive my ignorance. What does "Producer Only" mean? Does that mean that items are not for sale to consumers?

To the commenter: "producer only" means that only farmers/growers can sell at that market. Others, like the Old Town farmer's market, are open to produce resellers as well as growers. Resellers buy produce wholesale and resell it, so it's basically what you'd get in the grocery store. "Producer only" or "grower only" markets guarantee you are only buying fresh local food.
