It's just cool- a gritty cities best kept secret. There are all kinds of vendors inside and outside and upstairs and downstairs, selling anything from fresh fruits, veggies, meats, any kind of cheese you can hope for. It does not stop there, they also sell all kinds of wines and other alcholic/non-alcaholic beverages, baked goods, jewelrey, flowers, books, crafts, gifts. There is a clothing boutique, restaurant (you can eat inside or off the balcony), small art gallery, specialty foods store, bread shop, turkey shop, fresh doughnut/elephant ear vendor, etc. There is so much to shop for and look at that I can't possibly remember it all. They also have BBQ cook offs and other contest throughout the year. They are open year round and love to spend my lunch hours there. The hustle and bustle of it all and knowing we are supporting our local vendors/crop growers makes it a special place in a city that has suffered so much. I would absolutely love to see if voted number one.
