Heirloom Farmers Market - Rillito Park

St. Philip's Plaza Sunday farmer's market is a great place to shop for local fruits, vegetables and meats, plus have fun while you are doing it. The venders are very knowledgable and I like the idea of reducing my carbon footprint and supporting local farmers. My favorite vendor, currently, is Sleeping Frog Farms. In addition to growing gorgeous tasty local foods, the owners seem to be so excited about their farm and very willing and able to answer any question that this novice cook asks about how to prepare their fruits and vegetables. I learn something new every time that I go!
