I love the opportunity to buy fresh organic or at least locally grown produce. However, I'm getting really tired of vendors who either on purpose, or in ignorance, don't calibrate their scales correctly. Here is my result from this morning's, 11/02/2014, shopping: Apples: 2 lb, real weight 1lb 10 oz. Pears: 3.5 lb real weight 3 lb. Beets: 1 lb & 12 ounces, real weight 1lb 4 ounces. I understand that I'm talking about less than $1 difference on each purchase. However, it would be nice to be respected as a consumer. Think about how would you react if Sprouts took the same approach and scammed it's customers by nickle and diming.

The more I research healthy foods, find out about cruel animal raising, understand the labeling of *cage-free*, the more I realize in 2019 that our sensitivities in all aspects have been dulled, because? I think it is the crotesque practice of Capitalism which totally disregards the wellbeing of all living beings in return for money. I sure hope and believe that our millennials will stop a lot of these *politically correct and compassionate large and small companies *from doing business as usual. The sooner our country can step away from greed, power and wars, the more time and money we will have for good healthcare, animal free research for illnesses and sustainable living. I am 75 and regret that I woke up so late.

Really? That's all you can offer? The market didn't move. It's still there. The only thing that moved, was you. Good riddance.

St. Philip's Plaza Sunday farmer's market is a great place to shop for local fruits, vegetables and meats, plus have fun while you are doing it. The venders are very knowledgable and I like the idea of reducing my carbon footprint and supporting local farmers. My favorite vendor, currently, is Sleeping Frog Farms. In addition to growing gorgeous tasty local foods, the owners seem to be so excited about their farm and very willing and able to answer any question that this novice cook asks about how to prepare their fruits and vegetables. I learn something new every time that I go!

The Farmers' Market at St. Philip's Plaza was enjoyable and rewarding. There was a rich variety of fruits and vegetables, local honey, eggs, condiments, delicious food, coffee and teas and health and body care products. Tho' a warm summer day, the fountain, flowers and shady trees made for a festive atmosphere. A great destination for the whole family including the family dog.

I think it is wonderful that we have farmers markets in Tucson. It is a great place to buy fresh items and it helps our local farmers as well.

St. Philip's Paza is a beautiful setting, with several fountains and wonderful architecture. The vendors of delicious and pure foods bombard you with free samples, but are rarely ever pushy on the sale. People bring the kids and the dogs, and enjoy both Saturday and Sunday mornings shopping and eating locally in the Tucson sunshine. The Tucson Farmer's Markets at St. Philip's Plaza are such a delightful place to spend a weekend morning!

The Tucson Farmers Market at Phillips Plaza has a variety of fresh produce, bread, cheese and home made goods many of which are grown or made locally. The setting is beautiful,in a plaza with water fountains and mesquite trees just below the mountains. There is often live music, which makes for a festive atmosphere and enjoyable Sunday morning destination.

This market has the most vendors in Tucson and it is centrally located The plaza is very cute (as well as some of the vendors...) and there are also restaurants and businesses around which creates a buzzing yet relaxed atmosphere . Some shade is provided by the beautiful mesquite trees so even in the summer it's still fun to sit at bench and table to hang out, enjoy your produce, and people watch. They've also been having music lately which only adds to the fun for a perfect sunday morning outting.

This farmer's market keeps attracting new vendors who carry the finest and freshest local fruits, veggies, honey, meat, dairy, nuts, seeds, beans and other vital foods; which in turn attracts people who are interested in living a healthier life by consuming healthy foods and products. I love going as often as I can make it.
