Sara Hardy Farmers Market

As a local food phobic... I say this is the best market around. There is such an abundance of fresh, organic, local food that the problem becomes how much can I eat in a week. Picking and choosing is difficult with the abundance of choices. Everything from Hall's corn (the best ever) to local grass fed beef and free range chicken. The food scene is one of Traverse City area's greatest assets and this market is a major player. It is also the social "happening" on Saturday mornings...a perfect walk downtown. The other great aspect is anticipating as the different crops come in...oh...asparagus should be in this week...when will the corn come in? Great fun!
