Sycamore Farms

Last year was our first year participating in the CSA and we were extremely impressed with Sycamore Farms. Given that last year was not one of the best (as far as farming crops were concerned) we were still very impressed on Tuesday pickups. Each week we would receive an e-mail from Susan Smith about the projected veggies in the weekly pick up and it was always more than expected! The varieties of lettuce were amazing, the strawberries were so sweet, the green beans were fresh, the tomatoes were delicious and the corn was great too (that was just to name a few)! Throughout the summer the Smith's even had fresh cut flower bouquets and/or aloe plants available! Each week there was something else added into the pickups and if we weren't sure about what to do with it (like kohlrabi) Susan would always share a family recipe. We cannot wait for the CSA to begin again this year! We have recommended Sycamore Farms to so many of our family and friends because we thoroughly enjoyed the vegetables each week. We also like to support our local farmers and will continue to do so :)
