D Acres of New Hampshire

I lived and worked at DAcres for a litle more than a growing season and believe that it is a great example of sustainability in practice. From the way the resources are utilized to the method of program design, every aspect of this farm and education center embraces the "cradle to grave" theory and practices. The resources are utilized to their fullest extent then either reused or recycled into a different purpose, the land is well cared for and tended to, the food is prepared with care and purpose, and the educational programs are geared towards developing skills vital for a future with less fossil fuels. The center is also a great place for community to gather, eat good food, play music, celebrate, learn, and love together.
