I meet these folks at the Shallotte Farmer's Market. I've been looking for meat that's hormone and antibiotic free. I hadn't had a hamburger in 10 years because I didn't want a burger made from a hundred different cows from China! I purchased the ground beef and had a wonderful burger. There was NO fat on my hands! Also made a dish with browned beef and I needed to add a little olive oil so it didn't stick to the pan, again no grease. I have some chicken in the freezer to try next; and today I purchased a steak and more ground beef. I want to thank the Stephens family for bringing good food to market! I urge everyone to patronize them--buy local! Support our farmers!
