Grateful Davis Organic Farm

Before I ordered from TRETHOWAN FARM I loved Kumquats. I had only ever had them at $7.00/pound from Walmarts. I thought THEY were wonderful. Then I thought of going online to find kumquats. I found The Kumquat Growers of America. They were so much better. Sadly the winter of 2009/2010 was devastating to the Florida citrus crop. I too was devastated. I eat at least 40 kumquats per day. I tried South America, Africa and Australia - NOTHING! A light bulb clicked on in my head and I thought "DUH! California!" I found Local Harvest and began ordering from them. The farm that I ordered from would fill my 10 pound order with what ever they had lying around, the majority of which were hard little "salad olive" sized runts an inch or so in length. But they WERE kumquats and I made do. I reviewed their kumquats and stated my opinions but was never contacted. Then God smiled on me and I saw TRETHOWAN FARM KUMQUATS!! OMG! OMG! OMG!! They are HEAVEN ON MY TONGUE! I have never eaten anything more perfect. They are sweet-tart, juicy, fragrent and virtually seedless. I have NEVER been more pleased with any other food purchace I have made. Thank You, THRETHOWAN FARM.
