Red Stick Farmers Market

By: (Jun 4, 2008)
We go to this market about 2 or 3 times a month and are seldom disappointed. Our habit is to bring an ice chest, canvas shopping bags, and cash (though there's a nearby ATM for the forgetful). We always buy Smith milk, fresh flowers, and a variety of fresh veggies. Lately the only fruit available has been strawberries, but I'm hoping for peaches and other fruit later in the summer.

Beware, lots of people bring dogs, who are generally well-behaved but can certainly trip you up, especially when the market is crowded (which it always is, if the weather is good).
