Sarver's Hill Organic Farm & CSA

Ive been a CSA member at Sarver's Hill Farm for 7 years now. The CSA experience is exceptional-no where have I met such a diverse, intelligent and kind group of people. While laughing and talking we pick the BEST produce Ive had in Pennsylvania. A lifelong vegetarian, I am very picky about my families fruits and veggies, and Farmer Paul has blow away the competition. His strawberries are bright red and juicy, July apples are tart and crisp, the spinach and other greens have even my 3 children convinced to eat green vegetables. We have grazed on beans while we dug for potatoes, have nibbled green peppers as we pull red beets, and its common to see toddlers dipping freshly pulled carrots from the soft earth into the washbasins and trotting off to play as then crunch! This farm is a paradise for my family-a place where we have grown together, played together, worked together and learned. Paul is a delight, kind to all, a teacher of all that is to be learned on an organic farm, a mentor for hard work and a meaningful life...an absolute honor to have as a part of my life. And his produce...even better! We will belong to this farm every year until these old hands can garden no more.
