I have an autistic child and was led to believe that they are certified organic on everything - their sign on the road makes you believe this. I was shocked and disappointed when I inquired about buying chicken feed for my own flock and found out that they were feeding commercial feed to their birds on top of certified ground! When I questioned them I received an answer that really did not give me a good feeling. They say they are using organic feed now, but I cannot trust them.

Thank you for your concern. Our signs are referring to the cheeses and farm being organic and we don't try to mislead anyone, so I am sorry that we have been misunderstood. The only thing left to convert to being all organic was the chickens. The laying hens were converted to all organic feed in 2011, the pigs and beef and dairy cows were only fed organically before that, and in 2012, everything from our farm will be fed organically (even the broiler chickens). Sorry for the confusion. Always ask if you don't know and we will tell you the truth about what we are doing.
