Community Farm of Ann Arbor

I became a member because I wanted to eat food in a sustainable way, and I realized that just buying food from organic farms wasn't enough. It requires doing things like creating compost and feeding the soil on site. It requires cultivating pollinators like bees and maintaining biodiversity so that we can continue this way of life. It requires paying farmers a living wage to maintain these high standards. Community Farm does that. It feels really good to be part of a farming community that practices the highest values in sustainable agriculture. Community Farm is a place (a community) that cares for our farmers, a small corner of the earth and all the life that is nourished by this care. Members are welcome to visit the farm and feel a part of the magic that happens here. I love spending time at the farm. It is my refuge in SE Michigan. The vegetables are amazing, varied and plentiful! Like Anne says, "All things grow with love!" You will feel it if you visit this farm and become a member.
