Garens Greens at Schoodic Hollow Farm

I consider myself a native New Englander, and I take my roots seriously. Living in Colorado for the last ten years, the roots vegetables are just not the same... During a late autumn vacation back east, I was fortunate enough to pick up a few pounds of turnips, carrots, garlic and shallots, from Garen's Greens at Riverside Farm and fly them back to the Rocky Mountains. (I am certain someone from TSA grabbed a turnip!) - My household has officially been served and I shall continue to plan my trips back home for the best of harvest which appears to be almost year round with Garen! Thank you for taking our bellies home!!
