The most consistently good market in town.You can often shop here and totally avoid the big box supermarkets, especially in the summer.ANC also has meeting spaces and a commercial kitchen for anyone wanting to make other value added products.And community outreach! If you are a beginning farmer, new to gardening, looking to start a food related business, or just want to learn something interesting, ANC has a class or two each week on a variety of subjects.All are for free or a small donation.If you have not been to ANC you are really missing out on something good on a lot of levels.Did I mention they are also a food hub?If you grow anything you can probably sell it wholesale through their exchange system.Buyers range from individuals to supermarkets to huge hospital cafeterias and restaurants.These guys are defining the local food movement the way it needs to be defined.
