Pete's Fine Swine

After reading The Righteous Porkchop, we got a conscience about pork. In our quest to eat right, we found Pete, and have been ordering from him ever since. His pork is THE best. Why? Because--he does what he does, and he does it right. He feeds the pigs right. He pastures the pigs--this is hard to come by. He has a butcher come out to the farm, and Byron Center Meats does an exceptional job processing and packaging. He is so fast with communication. Even though we now live in Milwaukee, we plan our visits home to southwest Michigan around Pete's butchering schedule! Given our history with Pete and his product, when he decided to pilot Rose Veal, we were thrilled! The roasts!!! Oh. My. WORD!!! Amazing! The ground veal will make any recipe stand out...and the steaks are in a class by themselves. In his commitment to farm the right way, Pete has raised the bar--on practice and product. And, these days, we all know that is worth more than silver and gold!
