Schmidt Road Ranch

WOW! I expected the bay leaves to be nice, but what I got was an entirely new experience! I have grown a few herbs myself, but not bay leaves. Also, I got them in the mail three days after I placed my order and I live on the East Coast! When I took them out of the bag their fragrance took me back to summertime. Then I added ONE LEAF to the risotto I was making for dinner and the entire kitchen smelled spicy and fresh. The flavor was not at all overwhelming, just perfect! You get so many leaves that I am going to have to find lots of things to do with them. And the lovely arrangement makes this perfect for a gift. I am checking out what else they sell right this minute!
