Long Beach Southeast Farmers Market

This market has a craft fair associated with it, as well as several cooked food vendors - the tamales are really good! The produce is ok for this area, but not like the Nor Cal farmers markets I'm used to, where produce is picked the day/evening before, is extremely fresh and flavorful, and the vendors are knowledgeable about the things they're selling. Interested in Santa Rosa plums or Arctic Rose nectarines? Here they'll be happy to tell you they have "red" plums and "white" nectarines and have no idea what variety they really are. A handful of vendors are very good though.
