I too have bought sick chickens from this place and the owner also blamed me for their mareks disease.
We lost more then half the flock we bought from her.
I have purchased from another source and raised health chickens ever since.
I do NOT recommend Blue Star to anyone.
Marke is a horrible death.

Plus we have a guarantee page that states you are agreeing that you inspect chickens before purchase and agree to the terms. https://www.bluestar-ranch.com/poultry-guarantee.html Over the years I instruct customers how to care for chickens and that there are risks involved with raising agricultural and farm animals. - Some customers do not provide proper care, or their dogs injure or kill chickens. there are natural predators too that can kill chickens (snakes or rats) if chickens are found dead ALL customers do not consider all other factors and being new to chickens believe their chickens were sick! Before you buy a pet chicken do your research and understand that there are risks involved. We do our best to raise healthy farm pets. And have MANY happy repeat customers.
