I bought over 40 plants last year and got a few extras. I missed a black cherry tomato in the packaging. I found it two weeks later still in the box. It looked sad but with a tiny glimmer of life. I gradually exposed it to light and transplanted it. It took longer than the rest but produced lots of fruit. All of the plants were very healthy and very carefully packed. Key is to unpack plants as carefully as they were packed, don't worry that they look a bit stressed, put them in a sheltered location for a few days, and transition to full sun. By the next morning after you get them they look happy again.
