Common Ground CSA

This CSA isn't what it seems to be. They buy wholesale produce and fruit then resell it as their own. If one asks where things originate from, the answer is it comes from "cold storage". While the greens, lettuce, and chard originate on the farm, the produce that doesn't has included carrots, potatoes, leeks, shallots, onions, broccoli, spinach, rosemary, squash, pumpkins, asparagus, chives among others. They buy huge quantities of wholesale eggs from Noah's Pride and Restaurant Depot. These are repacked into custom egg cartons, interspersed with eggs from their chickens. The duck eggs do come from the farm. Strawberries and blueberries are from Driscoll's plastic containers that you would find at the supermarket. The add-ons of raw milk, dairy, cheese and bread are all from other farms nearby. The meat and goat's milk actually come from the animals they raise on the farm. There's no guarantee any of its organic, since they aren't actually certified organic.
